Employee Referral Program
Ortega Construction Company (OCC) is committed to hiring top talent who reflect our values and contribute to our continued success. To support this effort, we’ve updated our Employee Referral Award Program, originally launched January 1, 2024.
Below are the key updates:
Eligibility

All full-time OCC employees are eligible to participate.

Referrals may be submitted for any open role, or for highly skilled candidates who may not match a current posting.

Participation does not guarantee a hire; all hiring decisions will follow OCC’s standard recruiting guidelines.
Rules

Referrals must be submitted to HR using the Employee Referral Form.

Employees must be in good standing at the time of submission and payout.

HR and hiring managers may contact you for additional details and will keep you informed on status
Incentives
Referral awards will be paid once eligibility requirements are met:

$500 for non-exempt (hourly) hires
-
$1,000 for exempt (salaried) hires
-
$1,500 for executive-level hires
Payout & Taxes
-
Awards will be processed through REGIS payroll as a one-time bonus.

Award amounts are taxable and subject to applicable withholdings and deductions.
How to Submit a Referral

Send the referral’s name, contact information, and resume (if available) to HR or your immediate supervisor.
