Professional Affiliations

 

• Florida International University (FIU) – Industry Advisory Council (IAC), Moss Department of Construction Management
  Our founder, Michael Ortega, serves on the Executive Committee of FIU’s Construction Management IAC. In this ambassadorial role, he works to support and elevate the Construction Management programs at FIU’s College of Engineering and Computing.

• Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. — East Coast Chapter
  Ortega Construction is a proud member of ABC East Coast, bolstering our industry connections, access to best practices, and advocacy for construction standards.

 

Nonprofit & Community Partnerships

 

Giving back is part of who we are. We partner with organizations that align with our values supporting children, helping those facing challenges, and improving neighborhoods. Here are some of the nonprofits we actively support:

• Others dedicated to home repairs, assisting people with disabilities, feeding the less fortunate, and environmental efforts such as beach cleanups

• To further strengthen our culture of giving, we introduced our Passion Project Initiative, which provides team members the opportunity to highlight causes that are personally meaningful to them. Each quarter, a team member selects an organization to support, allowing our company to connect with new missions, expand our community impact, and celebrate what our people care about most.
